  • Resistance damping: An internal resistance mechanism (such as a torsion spring) absorbs vibrations generated during belt operation, preventing premature wear.   • Pressure Retention: Utilises springs or hydraulic pressure to generate sustained tension, ensuring the belt presses against the drive pulley at optimal pressure to guarantee transmission torque and friction.
